·         Elder Asandu Garba Gwanyo is the first university graduate in Kurama land in 1974.

·         Mrs. Tabitha Buba is the first female graduate in Kurama land.

·         Nuzumo was the name the Kurama people were known with before adopting their present name.

·         According to the 1911 Zaria gazette, the Kurama people were the single largest ethnic group in the plain and eastern part of the Zazzau emirate.

·         The Kurama people sojourned in Borno Empire for 730 years as estimated after leaving Saudi Arabia where the Kurama people claimed their originality.

·         The Kurama people lived in Kano for 435 years approximately.
