OPINION UNITED AKURMI: A STEP FOR A NEW NIGERIA-by Comrade Yusuf Sadau Sanda

It is a known fact that the Akurmi kingdom is known for love, peace and unity; where respect and hard work have been our watchword, and our motto: IN UNITY WE PROGRESS. But along the line greed and hatred infiltrated into our minds, from a foreign land which we have strongly accommodated and it has now reflected in our actions. We may feel, they are part of us, but we must remember that “truth generally has no substitute”. The reality of our personality,” in unity we progress”, must be portrayed despite our diversities in religion and clan. As a kingdom we must unite in order to ensure that our roles towards nation building is improved and maximized.

BENEFITS OF UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS

Unity would enable us to find our truth, discovering our authentic power, living in a compassionate world. It gives us connection, belonging, peace and joy; having self disclosure. It enables telepathy (i.e actual normal mode of communication for the unity conscious soul) and it also gives an expected translocation and a lot more.

 STRATEGICAL STEPS FOR UNITY IN AKURMI KINGDOM

The council of elders must have a truthful mindset; progressive matters and cases brought before the council have to be brainstormed before conclusions are drawn, to enable justice and equity. We (the Akurmi kingdom) must recognize and believe in our elders, we must respect and accept any verdict given by our elders on cases even when unfavorable to us. Mutual understanding among the Akurmi people must be encouraged; sensitization on peace, security and our core values traditionally and politically must be on top gear.

 Programmes must be initiated to empower the youth; through politics, business, education, agriculture and hard work. High marital rates must be discouraged, this will help reduce if not eradicate illegal marriages within the kingdom. We must gang up against greed, hatred and other vices that hamper unity and progress. We must be prayerful always, that the Almighty of unity should unite us in peace.

With a shout, I say to the Akurmi kingdom that: UNITED WE STAND AND NOT TO BE DIVIDED, NOT EVEN BY STATE CREATION. ALWAYS REMEMBER ONE TRIBE, ONE CULTURE, ONE KINGDOM FOR ONE PURPOSE: GREATNESS!!! The prayer: Long live Akurmi kingdom.  Long live Nigeria. Long live all nations in peace.
